MAP project, reviews and online publishing for Glasgow International 2018
During the course of this fortnight of cross city visual arts production and exhibition, MAP publishes a series of online essays to accompany the MAP for GI project We Who Are About To…
Deborah Jackson, curator, invites a reimagining of the future: shops, screenings, events, workshops and installation by artist duo Peel Eezy, Emma Finn, Lucy Beech and others, take up residence in the city centre and in Glasgow’s east end. A collection of essays expands this physical space online with contributions from Deborah Jackson, Helen Hester, Nina Power and Amanda Bunting-Branch.
Additionally, MAP will be publishing a series of short reviews and responses showcasing writers’ picks of the festival.
