Journeys in Contemporary Art

Based in Glasgow, MAP is a platform for contemporary art with an international perspective.

Founded in 2005, MAP published a quarterly magazine for 25 issues.

Each issue includes artist profiles, artist commissions, artist texts, interviews, critical essays on contemporary artistic practice and reviews of significant international events, exhibitions and art publications.

Back issues (some early numbers are in very limited supply) can be purchased by contacting info@mapmagazine, stating the issue and number of copies you would like to order.

We are currently updating the MAP website and will be publishing new content online soon. Please contact editor@mapmagazine.co.uk if you would like to submit either written or visual material which could include essays, reviews, art writing/artist commissions, interviews.
